About

Saloni is a PhD student working with the Nature Conservation Foundation and Snow Leopard Trust in India. She works in the Trans-Himalayan landscape (>3500m) in a fascinating place called Ladakh (meaning the land of high passes). Her research interests include understanding the dynamics of human-carnivore interactions, primarily how people relate and respond to carnivore presence in human-dominated landscapes.
